Southridge Skyhawk Youth Lacrosse is a non-profit organization dedicated to serve the south Beaverton community and the families living within the Southridge High School boundary. We provide organized and effective lacrosse camps and recreational teams.
The purpose of the Equipment Exchange is provide a place for our community to donate or sell new and used lacrosse equipment. Many of us outgrow or upgrade our equipment and no longer need the old equipment. Others are looking to save a money.
Please consider the following when posting or acquiring new protective equipment. Our children are our most prized possession and cannot be replaced. Please keep this in mind when purchasing used equipment. Do NOT buy used equipment if there is any doubt whether it will protect your child. Also consider the following safety warning posted on all protective equipment (All equipment has a similar disclaimer).
NOCSAE HELMET SAFETY WARNING:
DO NOT USE A HELMET IF THE SHELL IS CRACKED OR DEFORMED; OR IF INTERIOR PADDING IS DETERIORATED. SEVERE HEAD OR NECK INJURY, INCLUDING PARALYSIS OR DEATH MAY OCCUR TO YOU DESPITE USING THIS HELMET. NO HELMET CAN PREVENT ALL HEAD INJURIES OR ANY NECK INJURIES A PLAYER MIGHT RECEIVE WHILE PARTICIPATING IN LACROSSE.
Equipment Exchange Rules/Disclaimer:
Protective equipment must be less than four (4) years old. Helmets must be less than two (2) years old (Manufacturer recommends helmets be replaced or reconditioned every 3-4 years).
Do NOT post equipment that is damaged or modified. Equipment is meant to protect. Damaged or modified equipment is a safety hazard and a violation of NFHS Lacrosse rules.
